Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to welcome Ravitej Goteti, MD, internal medicine, as a Hospitalist.

Dr. Goteti comes to Dothan from Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center in Rossville, Maryland where he was a hospitalist. He is board certified in internal medicine and he is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Goteti received his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada in 2009. He earned his medical degree from Saint George’s University in Grenada, West Indies 2013.

He completed three years of internal medicine residency at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center. He was named resident of the year in 2015 and he was chief resident from 2015 to 2016.

When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Goteti plays cricket, tennis and chess. He regularly practices yoga and meditation. He is also a wildlife enthusiast who enjoys visiting the Bengal Tiger Conservation in India.
