Cardiac Imaging

Cardiac imaging uses ultrasound, MRI, CT scans, and nuclear imaging to visualize the heart and blood vessels, aiding in diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions like coronary artery disease, heart failure, and congenital heart defects.

Cardiopulmonary Rehab

Southeast Health offers Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs. Cardiac Rehab aids in recovery post-heart attack, stent placement, or heart surgery. Pulmonary Rehab helps manage chronic lung conditions like COPD and pulmonary hypertension.

Cardiothoracic Surgery

Cardiothoracic surgery involves operations on the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other chest organs. Surgeons treat various conditions, including heart disease, lung disease, and esophageal disorders. Common procedures include bypass surgery, valve replacement, lung cancer surgery, and esophageal surgery.

Cardiovascular Institute

Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute provides comprehensive heart and vascular care in one location. Their team of specialists, including cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, as well as cardiologists, treats various heart conditions and aims to improve patient health and quality of life.

Chest Pain Center

Southeast Health is accredited by the American College of Cardiology as a Chest Pain Center with PCI. This recognition signifies their expertise in treating heart attack patients. The hospital focuses on community education, rapid response, and advanced treatment to improve heart attack outcomes.

Electrophysiology Cardiology

Electrophysiology is a branch of cardiology focused on the heart’s electrical system. It diagnoses and treats abnormal heart rhythms like atrial fibrillation and tachycardia, often using procedures like ablation and pacemaker implantation.

Interventional Cardiology

Interventional cardiology is a medical specialty that uses minimally invasive procedures to treat heart conditions. Cardiologists use catheters and specialized tools to diagnose and treat heart diseases like blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythms.

Structural Heart Program

Southeast Health’s Structural Heart Program specializes in diagnosing and treating heart conditions affecting the heart’s structure. They offer minimally invasive procedures like TAVR for aortic stenosis and WATCHMAN for AFIB. Their multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive care from diagnosis to treatment.

Vascular Surgery
