About Our Progressive Medical Staff

The Southeast Health medical staff is a self-governing body of physicians dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients and supporting the health or our community. Our team includes independent, employed, and contracted physicians who are actively involved in shaping the direction of care of Southeast Health.

MEDICAL STAFF LEADERSHIP

Over the past decade, Southeast Health has grown into a comprehensive health system that includes the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduate medical education programs, and the largest multispecialty medical group in the Wiregrass. Our medical staff plays a key role in mentoring medical students and residents, helping us recruit and retain top talent early in their careers.

Expanding Our Focus on Medical Education

With more than 225 active members and over 400 total members, our medical staff represents nearly every medical specialty. Physicians are deeply engaged in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives and contribute through participation in various committees ensuring continuous progress in delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
