Baker named director in the Southeast Health Medical Group

Kala Baker has been named director in its Medical Group, which is the region’s largest network of primary care and specialty clinics.

In her new role, Kala will provide administrative and operational support for new primary care practices joining the Medical Group. Kala began her career at Southeast Health in 2021 as a talent acquisition specialist in Human Resources. Since then, she has continued to grow professionally in the organization. She most recently served as clinic manager at the Medical Group’s Pain Management Center. She also has experience as a radiologic technologist, laboratory technologist and in medical records.

Kala received her Associate of Applied Sciences in Radiologic Science from Wallace Community College in Dothan. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
