B.E.F.A.S.T

Know the Signs. BE FAST.

B – Balance

Sudden loss of balance, coordination, or dizziness.

E – Eyes

Sudden vision changes, such as blurry or double vision, or loss of sight in one or both eyes.

F – Face

One side of the face is drooping or numb; the smile is uneven.

A – Arm

Weakness or numbness in one arm (or leg); one arm drifts downward when both are raised.

S – Speech

Slurred speech, difficulty speaking, or confusion.

T – Time

Time to call 911 immediately if any of these signs are present.
