Stephanie Arbona named BEE of the Year

Congratulations to Stephanie Arbona, Emergency Department (ED), for being named the 2026 Southeast Health BEE of Year during Friday’s Hospital Week Awards Ceremony in the Seventh Floor Conference Room.

“Your facility has a real gem in Stephanie Arbona,” an ED patient wrote about her. “Her kindness and patience, as well as her skill, helped me have a bright spot to reflect on from the traumatic events of the night I was in the ED. She has made it easier for me to process all that has happened to me. Stephanie made all the difference for me!”

Another patient wrote after an unexpected security situation occurred while Stephanie was taking her to her room , “In a moment when I was already vulnerable as a patient, her actions made me feel completely protected. She demonstrated courage, quick judgement and genuine compassion. It did not feel like a routine protocol. It felt personal, as though my well-being truly mattered to her.”
