Dr. Dellock joins the Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute

Southeast Health is pleased to announce the addition of Carey A. Dellock, MD, a board-certified cardiologist, to the Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute.

Dr. Dellock comes to Southeast Health Medical Center from Capital Regional Cardiology Associates in Tallahassee, Florida, where she has been an interventional cardiologist since 2013. She brings almost 20 years of cardiology experience to the Cardiovascular Institute.

As a cardiologist with the Cardiovascular Institute, Dr. Dellock will see patients in the Dothan and Enterprise clinics, as well as in the hospital. She will also serve as the physician champion for the newly launched heart failure clinic in the Dothan office, which provides coordinated care for patients with heart failure, including ongoing management, education, and close monitoring to help improve quality of life and reduce hospital readmissions.

Dr. Dellock received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She completed her general surgery internship, internal medicine residency and cardiology fellow at Penn State Medical Center in Hershey. Dr. Dellock did her interventional cardiology fellow at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
