Southeast Health Medical Center is proud to have earned the Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge for voluntarily providing publicly reported information about patient safety and quality through the Leapfrog Survey. The Medical Center has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade for three consecutive reporting periods by Leapfrog.

Hospitals can opt to have Leapfrog grade them by gathering publicly reported numbers or they can participate in the more in-depth transparent volunteer reporting process. Only 21 hospitals in Alabama were recognized with this distinction.

The Full Transparency Badge is awarded to hospitals that complete, affirm, and submit all sections of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, one of the nation’s leading voluntary reporting programs focused on patient safety, quality, and transparency.
