Welcome to the Southeast Health Internal Medicine Residency Program.
We have worked hard over the last several years to produce a program you can be proud of. We have written a competitive yet flexible curriculum that will prepare you for Primary care, Hospitalist work, or fellowship in any of the subspecialties of Internal Medicine.
Our program is a teaching program, not a working one. The priority of your three years in our residency is to learn through the six competencies the ACGME has directed. In doing so, it will lead toward success in unsupervised practice, passing the ABIM Board exam, and a lifetime of critical thinking. We have assembled a dedicated faculty that is passionate about teaching. Each faculty member is as excited about teaching as you are about leaning and have been selected with that in mind.
Our facilities are pristine, safe and conducive to learning. Our benefit package is one of the best in the country. Our program is focused on your wellbeing and understands the stressors that Graduate Medical Education can bring. The program provides the necessary rigors of training as well as the personal touch of our dedicated faculty. I am certain that your experience in our program will be a positive one. Your training in our program will provide you with all the skills, knowledge and confidence required to deliver excellent medical care to all of your patients throughout your career.
I look forward to being a part of your journey toward excellence and welcome you to our program.
