Finch named Executive Chef

Southeast Health is pleased to announce Ian Finch has been named executive chef of its newly renovated dining area, Southeats.

Ian has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the food service industry. He was most recently the managing partner at Cheddars Scratch Kitchen in Dothan, which is owned by Darden Restaurants. Under his leadership, Cheddars was Darden’s highest ranking restaurant for guest service out of more than 170 locations. His restaurant was also a certified training facility for the company. Ian is very passionate about growth and development among his staff. Prior to Darden, he was the general manager of Logan’s Roadhouse in Dothan.

Ian earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama. He is also an alumnus of the Chattanooga School of Arts and Science in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He has been SafeServe certified for the past 25 years and prides himself on high scores on Ecosure and Health department inspections for quality and safety.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys traveling with his wife, Tennille, and spending time with their children. He spends a lot of time on baseball and soccer fields either coaching or cheering on their kids, or at the lake fishing and boating with his family.
