Gaines named vice president of ancillary services

Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to announce Jennifer Gaines has been named vice president of Ancillary Services.

Ancillary services reporting to Jennifer are: Radiology, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Oncology Services, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Wound Care, Diabetes Treatment Center, Rehabilitation Services, Neurodiagnostics, Sleep Centers and Advanced Home Medical Equipment.

Before becoming a vice president, Jennifer served as division director of ancillary services. She began her career at SAMC in 2009 as director of Southeast Wound Care. In addition to serving as director of wound care, she was named the director of Reference Lab in 2012. She also took on the role of director of Network Development in 2015.

Jennifer earned her Associate Degree of Applied Science from Enterprise Junior College in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Troy University in Dothan in 2005. She is currently working on her Masters of Business Administration through the University of North Alabama.

A 2016 graduate of Leadership Dothan, Jennifer has served on several civic boards and she is a past member of the Dothan Rotary Club and Dothan Kiwanis Club.
