Hurt joins Southeast Health’s administrative team

Southeast Health is pleased to welcome Kelly M. Hurt, MHA, MBA, as vice president, chief human resources officer (CHRO).

Kelly comes to Dothan with more than 10 years of vice president level experience in human resources. The last three years she has served as vice president, chief culture and strategy officer at King’s Daughters Health System in Ashland, Kentucky. Prior to that, she held various hospital and corporate level vice president positions in human resources with Banner Health.

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her Master’s degrees in Health Administration (MHA) and Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Healthcare Administration from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio.

Kelly, who grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana, and her husband, Dave, are excited about being in Dothan. She has two stepsons, Justin, who currently serves in the United States Air Force and is stationed in Germany, and Travis, who currently lives in Des Moines, Iowa and works as a manager in an auto auction house. When Kelly is not working, she enjoys drag racing, classic cars, antiquing, reading and hanging out at the beach.
