Southeast Health is pleased to welcome Nimit Patidar, DO, MS, board certified in internal medicine, to its team of Hospitalist. Southeast Health’s hospitalist team is made up of approximately 25 Internal Medicine physicians.

Dr. Patidar comes to Dothan from Pinehurst, North Carolina where he served as an internal medicine hospitalist at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. In his duties, he served as an intensivist for the last three years.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in economics from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Dr. Patidar completed his Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine–Georgia in Suwanee, Georgia. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia.

He completed a traditional rotating internship at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio and a residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. He had the distinction of being chief resident.
