Dr. Weir is a board-certified general surgeon with Southeast Health Surgery Clinic and a member of the medical staff at Southeast Health Medical Center. Dr. Weir, an Alabama native, is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.
Dr. Weir earned his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM), which is the academic arm of Southeast Health. He completed an internship and general surgery residency as chief resident at Michigan State University-McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital. Dr. Weir also received a Master of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and he completed a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
