Shae Griffin named Nurse of the Year

Congratulations to Shae Griffin, Seven-East, who was named Nurse of the Year at Thursday’s Nurses Week Ceremony.

“Shae cares about her patients and it shows in each and every interaction she has with them,” wrote Stacy Perry, Seven-East Nurse Manger, in Shae’s nomination letter.

She went on to write, “Shae is an extremely dedicated and hard-working nurse. She is always working more than her required shifts and will rarely say no when asked to pick up a shift if needed. Shae has a giving heart and helps those in need because she feels blessed to be able to do so.”

Shae was one of five finalist for the Top Nurse recognition. All of the finalist were monthly Daisy Award winners throughout the last year. Congratulations to all the finalist.
