Woods named director of Organizational Development

Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to announce Cassandra Woods, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has been named director of Organizational Development.

Cassandra comes to Dothan from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Arkansas, where she served as Training and Development manager and Title IX deputy director. Her previous experience includes director of Talent Management with Signature HealthCare in Louisville, Kentucky and director of staff development and senior department head at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

Cassandra received her Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational management from Philander Smith College, Little Rock, Arkansas. She earned her Master of Art in Human Resources Development from Webster University in Little Rock. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Senior Certified Professional in the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP).

Cassandra and her husband, Paul, have four grown children, LaTasha, Natika, Rashad, and Corey. She enjoys spending time with her eight grandchildren, as well as baking and reading. She loves being involved in the community and she plans to continue teaching at the post-secondary education level.
