Critical care at Southeast Health is supported by an intensivist program, meaning physicians with specialized training in critical care medicine may be involved in or coordinate care for patients in our critical care units. Intensivists work closely with nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other specialists to guide complex treatment decisions and respond quickly to changes in a patient’s condition. This team-based approach supports coordinated, consistent care for patients.

Critical illness affects both patients and the people who love them. Our teams treat every patient with dignity and compassion while keeping families informed and involved whenever possible. At Southeast Health, critical care combines clinical excellence with human connection by supporting patients and families through life’s most
challenging moments.

While rest is important for critically ill patients, family presence can support healing. One visitor may remain at the bedside at all times, and no more than two visitors may be in the room at one time to support patient care. Please note that visitation may be adjusted based on a patient’s condition.

Visiting Hours:
• 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
• 7:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Families are encouraged to select one primary contact to receive updates and share information with others.
