The Southeast Health Foundation recently awarded the 2026 Suzzane & Ronald S. Owen Scholarship to three deserving recipients who are children of Southeast Health employees.
Each recipient was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to further his or her education. The 2026 recipients are:
- Emma Lott – University of Alabama
- Emmett Payne – Yale University
- Georgia Segrest – Auburn University
“Established by former Southeast Health CEO, Ronald S. Owen and his wife, Suzanne, this scholarship was born from their vision to empower the families of Southeast Health,” said Amy Bunting, director of the Southeast Health Foundation. “For years, this fund has grown through the incredible generosity of colleagues and community donors who believe in the power of education.”
The scholarship is awarded on an annual basis to eligible dependent children of Southeast Health employees. Recipients receive funding for academic or technical one-time, limited tuition scholarships to accredited two and four-year colleges and universities based on the criteria.
Please join us in congratulating the students on behalf of Suzanne and Ronald S. Owen.
