Amber graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She later received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the Alabama State Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Amber lives in her hometown of Ozark, AL with her husband, twin boys and little girl. She loves spending time with her family and making memories whether at Disney, the beach, or just playing at home. Amber also enjoys baking and lap swimming. Amber was raised as a military child. The military has a special place in her heart and she is delighted to live near Fort Rucker and have the ability to care for veterans and their families who have served our country.
