Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to welcome Shephali Gandhi, MD, internal medicine, to our hospitalist team. The hospitalist team is part of the Southeast Alabama Medical Group (SAMG), which is the largest multispecialty group in the region.

Dr. Gandhi came to Dothan after completing her residency in internal medicine at Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Dr. Gandhi received her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She received a Master of Science degree in physiology from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.

When she is not practicing medicine, Dr Gandhi, enjoys music, swimming, cooking and movies. It is really important to her to be able to spend time with friends and family. She is also looking forward to having more opportunities to travel in the future.
