Dr. Laboy joins ACOM Ashford Clinic

Southeast Health is pleased to announce the addition of Francisco Laboy III, DO, sports medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine, to the ACOM Ashford Clinic. The ACOM Ashford Clinic is part of the Southeast Health Medical Group, the largest network of primary and specialty clinics in the region.

In addition to practicing at the clinic, Dr. Laboy is also director of Clinical Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) and associate professor of OPP at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM).

Dr. Laboy, fellowship trained in primary care sports medicine, comes to Dothan from practicing at New Mexico Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He has also served on the faculty of Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces.

Dr. Laboy received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of New York in New York City. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania He also completed his residency in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine- Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM) at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and then went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship at NOVA Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The ACOM Ashford Clinic is managed by the Southeast Health Medical Group with clinical support provided through the medical college. The clinic also allows ACOM medical students a hands-on patient experience in a rural clinic setting.
