Southeast Health is pleased to welcome Dhaval Pau, MD, intensivist, critical care medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and he is fellowship trained in critical care medicine.

An intensivist is a physician who provides special care for critically ill patients in the hospital. An intensivist has advanced training and experience in treating complex patients.

Dr. Pau comes to Dothan from St. Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri where he completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Pau received his Bachelor of Human Health Services and medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine Saint George, Antigua and Barbuda. He completed his residency in internal medicine from Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, New York.
