Heather Land and Jeff Allen headline comedy night

Social media sensation Heather Land, who is famous for saying, “I ain’t doin it,” is coming to Dothan in August with fellow comedian Jeff Allen for a night of clean family fun.

Southeast Alabama Medical Center Foundation is sponsoring “Laughter is the Best Medicine” at the Dothan Civic Center on Thursday, August 2. Proceeds from this star-studded night of comedy will provide scholarships to the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM).

Land is currently selling out venues nationwide on her “I ain’t doin it” comedy tour. With a knack for finding humor in the most frustrating situations, Land has the ability to not only make people laugh at each other, but themselves as well. Her self-deprecating style is adored by people of all ages.

The night of fun will begin with Allen taking the stage with his unique brand of humor. Allen is a favorite at corporate events performing his world-class comedy. He regularly makes national television and radio appearances. It is also a good bet you might see his act in casinos across the country.

The curtain goes up on first dose of “Laughter is Best Medicine” at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $100 VIP packages that include a backstage reception, dinner and premium table seating during the show to $30 general admission seating. Tickets can be purchased through the Dothan Civic Center by calling 334-615-3175. VIP Tickets can only be purchased by contacting the SAMC Foundation, 334-673-4150.
