Koeller named director of Behavioral Health Services

Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to announce Sandra Koeller, MAN, RN-BC, has been named director of Behavioral Health Services.

Sandra comes to Dothan with almost 10 years of experience in behavioral health. She was most recently at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she served as a Behavioral Health program director. Prior to that, she was nurse manager of the Leland Unit at Northeast Hospital Corporation, Beverly Hospital in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Sandra received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Western Technical College, La Crosse, Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Viterbo University also in La Crosse. She completed her Masters of Arts in Transformational Nursing Leadership at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is board certified in Psychiatric-Mental Health and Gerontology by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Sandra has two adult children, Adrienne, who resides in Minnesota and Adam, who lives in Ohio. When she is not working, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and running.
