Money named care coordinator of Six-East Nursing Unit

Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to announce Kerrie Money, RN, has been named care coordinator of Six-East Nursing Unit. This unit is designated for neurosurgery and neurology patients.

Kerrie has nine years of experience as a registered nurse at SAMC. During her tenure at SAMC she has served in the critical care unit, cardiovascular critical care unit and neurosurgical unit. She has also worked as a primary charge nurse at Nolan Long Term Acute Care Hospital located inside SAMC.

Kerrie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Auburn University. She then earned her Associate of Applied Nursing from Wallace Community College in Dothan. She is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

An Abbeville native, Kerrie enjoys spending time with her two sons, Samuel and Parker. Her sons attend Abbeville Christian School. She also enjoys spending time with friends and trips to the beach.
