Nedelcut named to head up Southeast Health’s Regulatory Compliance

Southeast Health is pleased to welcome Adrian Nedelcut, MD, CPHQ, as Director of Regulatory Compliance.

In his role, Adrian will take the lead in Southeast Health’s continuous survey readiness program, in order for our institution to meet compliance with standards set forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), DNV and the state of Alabama. DNV is Southeast Health’s accrediting organization approved by CMS.

Adrian comes to Dothan from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas. In his role as the University’s Quality Improvement Manager, he established a successful continuous survey readiness program, and supported the institution’s achieving a 5 star CMS rating. Previously, he held the position of Quality Improvement Lead at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas.

A native of Romania, Adrian earned his Doctor of Medicine from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. His medical training was followed by a residency in Family Medicine at St. Panteleimon University Hospital, as well as a Cardiovascular Surgery Internship at C.C. Iliescu Heart and Vascular Institute – both in Bucharest.

He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).

Adrian and his wife, Melissa, have two young boys who love to learn and have fun. In his free time, Adrian enjoys climbing mountains, attending philharmonic concerts and playing tennis.
