Southeast Health named Forbes America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals for second year

Southeast Health system is proud to be named one of Forbes America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2026. The organization has also been recognized as a Forbes Best-In-State Employer for the past five years.

Only 250 healthcare organizations nationwide earned a place on this year’s list, and Southeast Health is honored to receive the recognition for the second consecutive year. The award is presented in partnership with Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The complete list is available on the Forbes website.

The recognition celebrates Southeast Health’s outstanding workplace culture, employee support programs and unwavering commitment to advancing the healthcare professions. It also reflects the organization’s ongoing dedication to fostering an environment where healthcare professionals can grow, thrive and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and students.

Rick Sutton, chief executive officer of Southeast Health and president of ACOM, said the recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects how Southeast Health compares with healthcare organizations across the country.

“Our employees have created a workplace culture that is recognized on a national level,” said Sutton. “We are incredibly grateful for our team members and the dedication they bring to their work every day. Their commitment to excellence, compassion and service is what makes Southeast Health a great place to work and learn, and an exceptional place for patients to receive care.”
Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best Employers for Healthcare 2026 through an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 30,000 healthcare workers. The top 250 healthcare organizations were named to the list.
