Williams joins SAMC Administrative Team

Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to welcome Taylor Williams to its administrative team as Vice President of Southeast Alabama Medical Group (SAMG).

Taylor will be responsible for physician clinics owned and operated by SAMC. There are currently 15 primary care and specialty physician clinics owned by SAMC in its 13 county service area.

Taylor comes to SAMC with more than 13 years of healthcare experience. He joins the Medical Center team from The Emory Clinic in Atlanta where he was Vice President of Operations and accountable for the oversight and leadership of the clinical operations support team, EMR optimization in the ambulatory setting, and Patient Financial Services for Emory Physician Group Practices.

Taylor is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Health Care Management. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) in 2004 and Master of Science in Health Administration from UAB in 2005. Taylor, his wife Virginia, and his two children, Jackson and Olivia, are excited to be a part of the SAMC family.
