Statera CEO receives prestigious healthcare award

Marc J. Miller, CEO of Statera Health, has been named recipient of Alabama Regent’s 2018 American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Senior Level Healthcare Executive Award. Miller was recently presented the prestigious award by Keith Parrott, Alabama’s ACHE Regent and chief executive officer of Brookwood Baptist Hospital in Birmingham.

Miller, MBA, FACHE, FACMPE, was named CEO of Statera Health in 2016. Statera Health is a Clinical Integration Organization (CIN) established by local physicians and Southeast Health. Statera enables Southeast Health, local physicians, payors and employers to balance healthcare costs in the community while providing quality healthcare to their patients.

The criteria for the Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award are quite extensive. The individual must be a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). A senior-level executive within a healthcare organization and has successfully demonstrated his/her leadership ability not just within his/her own organizations, but also in the healthcare field whether at the local, state or national levels.
