William McRae, III, MD

 

Dr. McRae is a pain medicine physician and anesthesiologist who joined Southeast Pain Management Center after completing a fellowship in pain management at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.

A Dothan native, Dr. McRae graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a degree in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. Dr. McRae completed his internship in Internal Medicine at UAB before returning to Vanderbilt University to obtain his anesthesiology residency.

Dr. McRae is certified as a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Alabama State Society of Anesthesia and the Houston County Medical Society.

Dr. McRae is glad to be in Dothan and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is also an avid Vanderbilt football and basketball fan.
